MONDAY, MAY 27, 2019

Many of us visit the airport monthly, or sometimes even weekly. Have you ever stopped to notice the strange carpet beneath your feet? Some airports are popular for their crazy carpet such as: Portland, Phoenix, and Sacramento. What started as simply a unique design, has become a social media trend.

Maybe you have noticed some unique carpet designs in these airports:

The Portland International Airport (PDX) has a carpet design that represents a geometric look. When social media started to grow, the carpet became a hip symbol for Portland. Now souvenirs from socks, hats, water-bottles, and others are being sold.
